Next, travel south to the Denali National Park, where en route you will visit the town of Nenana, home of the Nenana Ice Classic. Upon arrival in Denali, the tallest mountain in North America, visit the Murie Science and Learning Center, and even have the chance to snowshoe!
Embark on the world-famous Alaska Railroad for a scenic journey to Talkeetna, the community believed to be the inspiration for the show "Northern Exposure". Finally, arrive in Anchorage, where you will enjoy a city tour to get acquainted with the city and visit the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center, to learn about the magnificent animals of the area. Travel to the resort town of Girdwood, where you will take a tram ride to the top of Mt. Alyeska and take in views from above of the Cook Inlet.
