Meal: D Day 2 Montreal Sightseeing & Notre-Dame Basilica Embark on a narrated tour of Montreal, one of Canada’s vibrant cities known for its rich French-Canadian heritage. Your local guide shows you Old Montreal with its narrow streets lined with a mixture of buildings dating from the 17th-century, Place d’Armes, St. Joseph’s Oratory, Mount Royal and Olympic Park, site of the 1976 summer Olympics.
Also visit Montreal’s sacred Notre-Dame Basilica, one of the crown jewels of Quebec’s rich religious heritage. On the Mont Tremblant gondola, be whisked away to the top for breathtaking views of the surrounding autumn foliage. Meals: B, D Day 3 Ride VIA Rail & Quebec Sugar Shack This morning, Canada’s VIA Rail service takes you to Quebec City. The only walled city in North America, Quebec’s Grande- Allee is alive with many quaint shops and sidewalk cafes. On your touring today, pass through the famed Saint Louis Gate which leads into old Quebec. We arrive at the banks of the St. Lawrence River and Place Royale, the oldest settlement in the region.
